RECEIVER

Unified Ingestion for Every Source

Seamlessly capture documents, data, and signals from scanners, mobile devices, cloud storage, messaging apps, and enterprise systems—all routed directly into your flows.

Overview

The Receiver node is the entry point of your automation. It captures documents, data streams, and event triggers from virtually any channel: scanners, mobile phones, cloud drives, message queues, APIs, and enterprise systems. Receiver can monitor repositories, ingest structured or unstructured data, and automatically activate downstream workflows. With optional human-in-the-loop validation via Reviewer, Receiver ensures accurate, controlled, and audit-ready intake for even the most complex, high-volume operations.

Capabilities

  • Scanner Control

Directly operate enterprise or desktop scanners and manage feeder-based digitization.

  • Beyond Documents

Ingest databases, CSVs, and structured datasets to enrich documents or validate extracted information. Provide web or mobile upload interfaces for direct user submission.

  • Mobile Acquisition

Generate barcodes users can scan with their phone to capture images linked to a specific case or flow. Push photos, documents, and data from mobile devices directly into a targeted workflow.

  • Human-in-the-Loop Assisted Intake

Sort incoming material, delete unwanted pages, request mobile recapture for low-quality scans.

  • Workflow Automation

Automatically trigger flows based on new content, events, or thresholds. Work through historical archives or backlog folders with scheduled processing.

  • Prebuilt Connectors

Drag-and-drop ingestion from Filenet, WhatsApp, Slack, Email, and any n8n-supported integration. Listen for changes in Local folders, Google Drive, Google Cloud Storage, AWS S3, Azure Blob Storage, and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Pub/Sub, etc.).

Benefits

  1. Eliminate Manual Collection

Centralize every input channel into a single ingest node.

  2. Ensure Immediate Action

Automatically kick off workflows the moment new data arrives.

  3. Reduce Rework

Human-in-the-loop capture ensures high-quality upstream input before processing.

  4. Integrate Everything

Support for messaging apps, cloud services, drive folders, and enterprise repositories.

  5. Future-Proof Your Intake

Add new sources or channels without replacing your ingestion architecture.

  6. Improve Accuracy

Bring in structured data alongside documents to create richer, more reliable cases.

FAQ

Yes. Receiver handles files, images, databases, CSVs, metadata, and structured datasets—anything your workflows need for validation or enrichment.

Yes. Receiver can directly operate scanners for high-volume feeder digitization or manual flatbed capture.

Receiver generates a barcode or link that opens a capture interface on the user's phone. Images go straight into the correct case or flow.

Absolutely. It monitors cloud storage, folders, message queues, and enterprise repositories—and can automatically trigger workflows.

Yes. Reviewer can sort, correct, delete, or request new captures before items enter the main flow.
